not much better

The sickness is holding on like a champ. It's not a lot of fun to grimace every time I swallow and feel like my eyes are squinting all day long. Blah.

Now beyond what is going on in my face and throat we are meeting with a realtor tomorrow to start the process of putting our house on the market. I keep saying, "we'll see" and tomorrow will be another one of those times. I'll be interested to see what she says and all that we talk about. We've found some houses that are promising and just need to see if anyone out there can see themselves living in our house.

Being sick and selling your house...two things that you have little control over. You can take medicine, drink lots of water, clean the windows, and stage the rooms, but it all comes down to waiting for health to return and an offer to come in. Patience, faith, planning, being smart, waiting, blowing your nose. Oh, how that last one sucks.

Waiting is a hard thing to do. Waiting to feel better. Waiting to see if we'll be moving. But it's good to know that you don't have to do it alone. Family and friends are on the road with you with a divine presence leading the way. Blessed assurance and sacred community. Amen.
